September 2018 - Spouses club, rafting & family

On the 1st of September, 'the Claeyskes' returned to Belgium.  We couldn't wave them goodbye at the airport as Willem had a soccer tournament that morning. Willem is the 5th from the left This is my second year that I organise weekly activities for the International Military Spouses Club f rom September until June.  This year I've also been asked to lead the 'Energy Club' for the American Military Spouses, for whom I will be organising 1 'energy' activity a month. My first activity for this year was 'Tubing the Weber River'.  A van dropped us off somewhere at the Weber River after which we could float down the river for 2 hours. A lot of fun as some parts of the river is somewhat wild, which makes it a bit exciting at times!   The first activity with the international spouses was the same hike I did in August with 'the Claeyskes' to see the salmon run (salmons swimming up the river to hatch). August 2018 - Belgium & friends (Part II)

So as I mentioned in my previous post ( July 2018 ), on the 1st Og August, our boys l eft on a camp with the Chiro where they had a great time (as always). Willem is the bald one in the middle 😱 ... PS: he didn't leave bald to the camp 😏 Hendrik is the blondie on the right, with his friend in his neck And our busy schedule just continued 😅 ...t hat same evening we had a reunion dinner in Leuven with some ex-colleagues from Geert's squadron and on the 2nd we had a surprise party for Anneke, one of our friends in Meulsté, who turned 50 ... O A fun party in the middle of a nature reserve with great food, great spirits 😜, ... ... an occasional water, 😇 ... ... but most importantly, great people! Geert  went back home (yes , we do consider Utah our 'home' now)  the 3th of August as somebody has to work in this family, right 😆.  After I dropped him of at the airport, I went to my parents' place to get some rest.
